LaRhonda Sparks

LaRhonda Sparks was born and raised in Houston, Texas. From a very young age, she has always had an exceptional ability to organize, plan, and coordinate activities, events, and life in general. Graduating as the Valedictorian of Barbara Jordan High School for Careers in 2000 while concurrently working full time, she embarked on a career at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas post-graduation. Progressing through the ranks, LaRhonda eventually assumed a management position responsible for the comprehensive training and development of the entire staff. Amidst her career, she achieved magna cum laude honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 2008 and cum laude honors with a Masters in Health Services Management in 2009. Shortly before completing her graduate degree, a Reduction-In-Force prompted by the recession led to the elimination of all staff.

LaRhonda took a much-needed break from the workforce to focus on a healthy pregnancy in which she carried and delivered triplet daughters in November 2009. She had been a stay-at-home mom for a short period when LaRhonda seized the opportunity to work as a Legal Assistant for Attorney Monique Sparks. At the time, the firm consisted of just Monique and herself. Together, they worked tirelessly to shape The Sparks Law Firm into its present form.

Currently serving as the firm’s Legal Operations Manager/Chief Financial Officer, LaRhonda handles several responsibilities, including office and staff management, financial operations, scheduling, drafting and filing pleadings, client communications, and much more. LaRhonda is a client advocate and firm believer in justice for the marginalized. LaRhonda enjoys spending her spare time with her daughters, reading, watching movies, traveling and planning enjoyable events.
